ClearCapture® Delivers Where Dissolved Air Flotation Disappoints
“We prove solids want to sink, not float!”
— Greg Westbrook, CEO & President
Food & Beverage producers have been sharing their frustrations with Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) systems.
Customer feedback has indicated that Dissolved Air Flotation systems are extremely energy-inefficient, very complex to operate, use large amounts of chemicals—notably polymers—and require a lot of space.
ClearCove’s award-winning ClearCapture® product series provides Food & Beverage producers an innovative and disruptive alternative to DAF systems.
Please take a few moments to review our top-level technology leadership points, when compared to DAF systems, or contact us to speak to one of our expert representatives.
Consistent Solids Removal
Patented technology enables quiescent settling and flotation in batch mode, and can handle variability without a complex adjustment of process.
Uses Significantly Fewer Chemicals
Batch control optimizes chemical usage in comparison to dynamic systems, which have a tendency to overuse chemicals. This can be programmed and adjusted as needed for varying streams. Only coagulants are used (no cationic polymers required).
Better Solids Removal
50-micron screeen provides absolute retention of the majority of solids, which protects downstream equipment, such as membranes. In addition, the screen is continuously scoured to prevent plugging.
Easy To Operate
Fully automated mechanical parts are easy to access with simple process adjustment.
Lower Energy Consumption
ClearCapture does not require constant air consumption and pump recirculation.
Smaller Footprint
Quiscent batch settling requires less surface area.
